In fact, BOSS Snowploughs are designed, built and tested in Iron Mountain, Michigan, where snow, ice and harsh winter conditions are a way of life.
As innovative as it is tough, THE BOSS BX-12 is loaded with exclusive features, which allow you to move large amounts of snow in a single pass with your loader or backhoe. Unlike basic box ploughs that simply push the snow, the BX-12 High-Efficiency Moldboard features an aggressive 70-degree attack angle that "rolls" the snow. This exclusive snow-rolling action not only removes more snow with each pass, but it also lessens the amount of push resistance, reducing fuel consumption and tractor wear and tear. The exclusive BX-12 Self-Adjusting Box Wings allow even less experienced operators to plough at a high level of productivity. That's because they automatically adjust to the contour of the pavement, eliminating the need for tricky scoop angle adjustments like other basic box ploughs. Since the BX-12 features our unique Segmented Trip-Edge Design, each cutting edge segment trips individually, keeping the remainder of the segments moving snow.
